Our Research Philosophy

The nutritional supplement industry is largely self-regulated. Companies can make broad "structure/function" claims without clinical evidence, and many do. At Speedwinds Nutrition, we chose a different path: invest in real research before making claims about our products.

Procerin Clinical Study

Procerin underwent an IRB-approved (Institutional Review Board) double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial — the gold standard of medical research. The study measured hair density, hair growth rate, and participant self-assessment over a 90-day period.

Key findings:

  • Participants using Procerin showed measurable improvement in hair density compared to placebo
  • Self-reported satisfaction rates were significantly higher in the treatment group
  • No serious adverse effects were reported during the trial period

This doesn't mean Procerin works for everyone — results vary based on the stage of hair loss, genetics, and individual physiology. But it does mean the product has been through legitimate clinical evaluation, which is more than most hair loss supplements can claim.

GMP Manufacturing Standards

Research scientist in laboratory testing supplement formulations

Every Speedwinds product is manufactured in a GMP-certified (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility. GMP certification means:

  • Raw materials are tested for identity and purity before production
  • Manufacturing processes follow documented, repeatable procedures
  • Finished products are tested for potency and contamination
  • Complete batch records are maintained for traceability

What We Don't Claim

Transparency requires honesty about limitations. Our supplements are not FDA-approved drugs. They are not proven to cure any medical condition. Clinical studies show promising results for specific populations, but they are not guarantees of individual outcomes. We believe the supplement industry needs more companies willing to say "here's what the evidence shows — and here's where it falls short."
